Páirc Uí Chaoimh entertained the senior Cork LGFA final between Mourneabbey and Éire Óg last night, in what was a first for the historic ground.
2020 saw the intercounty team admitted for their inaugural outing at the location, but last night’s fixture marks the was ground breaking in terms of women’s club matches at the venue.

The final score culminating in a seventh county title in that very span for Ronayne’s crew on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-6 .
Speaking at the trophy presentation captain Bríd O’Sullivan remarked how it was an “absolute honour” for the squad to play at the ground.
“It’s an excellent experience for both us and Éire Óg so thanks very much to Páirc Uí Chaoimh for organising for the game to be played here and to Cork LGFA for making it happen as well” she said.
