HER SPORT
WORKSHOPS

Inspiring the next generation to start, stay and succeed in sport.

Our interactive workshops equip young people with the knowledge, confidence and practical tools to build a more active, inclusive and equal future.

EDUCATION IS KEY TO CHANGE

CONFIDENCE
CHANGES
EVERYTHING

By the age of 20, 1 in 2 girls have dropped out of sport, and just 11% of teenage girls in Ireland get enough physical activity. Our education workshops tackle the barriers behind these numbers, giving girls the knowledge, confidence and practical tools to navigate sport, understand their bodies and stay active for life.

OUR IMPACT

5,000+

Her Sport has delivered education and workshops to more than 5,000 young people, creating honest conversations around confidence, body image, menstrual health, belonging and the barriers that can push girls away from sport.

82%

Among girls who were not already active, 82% said the workshop encouraged them to try sport. We help participants challenge the belief that sport “isn’t for me” and see more ways to get involved.

60% → 100%

Before the workshop, 60% of participants reported feeling confident taking part in sport. After the session, that rose to 100%, showing the immediate difference the right knowledge, conversation and support can make.

97%

97% of participants said they felt more empowered to deal with obstacles in sport, helping girls leave with practical tools for challenges around confidence, body image, periods, judgement and belonging.
