Mawdsley And Healy Give Stellar Performances At Ostrava Golden Spike Continental Tour Gold 2023

Sharlene Mawdsley and Sarah Healy put in great effort to give impressive performances at the 62nd Ostrava Golden Spike Continental Tour Gold 2023 last night.

Sarah Healy showcased her talent in the women’s 1500m, achieving a personal best and securing a fourth-place finish. Her time of 4:01.75 surpassed her previous personal record time of 4:03.57 set in May. Healy’s exceptional time ranks her third on the Irish all-time 1500m list, behind Ciara Mageean and Sonia O’ Sullivan. She has also set a new Irish u/23 record.

Sharlene Mawdsley returned to the track for the women’s 400m following her recent success at the European Games. She clocked in at 52.26 seconds and secured a commendable sixth-place finish.
