After her heroics in qualifying for a global final, disappointingly Sharlene Mawdsley (Newport AC) has been disqualified from the Women’s 400m at the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow. The track referee adjudicated that Mawdsley had broken Rule 17.1.3 ,which relates to obstruction, in the semi-final.
