18-year-old Irish International Jessie Stapleton has joined WSL side West Ham United.
The 2021 Ireland U19 Women's Player of the Year and WNL Player of the year leaves the Women's Premier Division champions Shelbourne, where she scored 21 goals in 71 appearances, helping secure two league titles and an FAI cup.
West Ham United Women finished eighth in the league last season.
Stapleton made her Senior Ireland debut against the Philippines in June of 2022.
"I'm delighted to join West Ham United," says the teenager, who formerly played for Cherry Orchard. "It's a massive honour for me to sign for this club. It's been a dream of mine since I was a little kid to sign for a professional team and I can't wait to get going."
Fellow Ireland International Hayley Nolan was today (July 29) announced to have joined Crystal Palace Women from the London City Lionesses, with whom she played every minute of their latest championship campaign.
