Scott Bemand opens his campaign as head coach today with Ireland versus Kazakhstan in the XV3 series.
The first of the three fixture window, the former English coach will be looking to get off to a good start against the Asian outfit before attention turns to their Colombia and Spain matches over the coming weeks.

What’s been said prior to the game?
In the build up head coach Scott Bemand and one of his newly appointed co captains, Edel McMahon spoke to the media, highlighting how they can use this game and the entire series as a fresh start.
It comes after Ireland failed to win a game at this year’s Six Nations, finishing bottom and ultimately resulting in former coach Greg McWilliam’s departure from the position.
