Shauna Bannon is heading to the UFC.
The former Cage Legacy DOUBLE champion took to social media to break the news.
"I can finally announce I am now a @ufc fighter. So grateful for everyone who had a part in me getting here over my 25 years in martial arts. We have had many ups and downs lots of highs and lows and I am now reaching a huge milestone in my career!"

Bannon's journey to professional MMA was not a linear one. She initially pursued kickboxing as a stepping stone to enter the Olympics but found no passion in the sport. However, after trying out MMA in a single class, she fell in love with it immediately.
