The winners for the highly anticipated 2023 PwC Camogie Soaring Star Awards have been revealed, to acknowledge the outstanding performance and commitment of players throughout the 2023 Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Intermediate and Premier Junior Championship season and the Very National League Final. The 2023 PwC Camogie Manager of the Year has also been announced.
Leading the way is the remarkable 2023 All-Ireland Intermediate Champions Derry, who drew in the final against Meath in Croke Park, but ultimately took the crown by 9 points in a thrilling replay. Derry has won an impressive eight Soaring Stars, which will be celebrated at the eagerly anticipated PwC All-Stars Awards Ceremony in Croke Park on 4th November.
All-Ireland Intermediate Championship finalists Meath follow with four winners, Clare with two wins and Tipperary claiming one Soaring Star.
The eight deserving Derry Players chosen for the 2023 PwC Camogie Soaring Stars team are:

Finally, Tipperary complete the team and have received a place as Corner Forward:
1. Jean Kelly Corner Forward
Matthew Twomey was announced as the 2023 PwC Manager of the Year, recognising his outstanding leadership and achievements for the Cork Camogie Team. Appointed as Cork Camogie’s Senior Team Manager in 2021, Twomey saw two All-Ireland final defeats to Kilkenny and Galway, however, remained resolute and determined to lead his team to success in 2023. In his final game as Manager of The Rebels, Cork celebrated their triumphant return to glory after a five-year hiatus, capturing the All-Ireland title and reclaiming their position as a dominant force in camogie. Matthew stepped down from his role in September 2023.
