The context before you watch Katie Taylor vs Chantelle Cameron ?
This bout between Taylor and Cameron is their second match up of the year, and sees the Northampton fighter’s IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO women’s world super lightweight titles up for grabs.
Their last encounter saw Cameron reign victorious, although not by unanimous decision. One judge called the match as a draw, with the remaining two awarding the fight to Cameron by two rounds.
At 37, Taylor will once again move up in weight for this must win fight, and already has all the hallmarks of a classic redemption story should she be able to close it out with a win.
Cameron on the other hand will be looking to ruin the party once again, but this time she has the opportunity to put the breaks on Taylor’s career, and take over that mantel as the one to beat in women’s boxing for herself.

What’s been said before Katie Taylor vs Chantelle Cameron ?
Taylor’s coach, Ross Enamait, has said this is the “biggest fight of Katie's career at this stage” and that he’s “more confident” this time around.
"I know Katie can perform a lot better...when she's 100% and confident she can beat anyone in the world. I think you'll definitely get a better fight from both sides."
Taylor herself has expressed that she’s “very grateful” for the chance to fight Cameron once again, especially on home soil.
“Not every fighter has this opportunity. So I just feel gratitude right now," she said.
Cameron on the other hand is less than impressed that she has to fight in Dublin once again, but that yet she is still “really excited for this fight.”
"I don't feel I should be back in Dublin having to defend my belts again for the rematch thing. We could have gone anywhere, really,” she said.
"I think like when I watch my career, I see that I change in some way in every fight and I'm very good at adjusting as well.”
In another life Katie Taylor could have been playing in the Aviva with the Irish WNT, but in this one she continues to be a boxing legend🥊
She’s all for women supporting women too, shoutout to @IrelandFootball, @ciaramageean and @rhasidatadeleke 🫡
