ESPN reported that Women’s Super League sides Arsenal and champions Chelsea will face NWSL teams in a US Tour set for this August, which will also include a matchup between the two WSL sides in Washington, D.C.
Arsenal will play Washington Spirit while Chelsea will play 2023 NWSL champions NJ/NY Gotham FC, both at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey.
Depending on the dates some players will likely be missing for Olympic duty, but this marks the first time two WSL teams play NWSL sides.

Both Chelsea and Washington Spirit will be under new management, as Emma Hayes departs the former to take over as USWNT coach while Jonatan Giraldez is set to lead Washington Spirit when he leaves Barcelona in June.
