FIFA Women’s World Cup Final Group B Fixture: Ireland 0-0 Nigeria

Ireland gave it their all in their final FIFA World Cup 2023 group B fixture against Nigeria and walk away with their heads held high after securing a draw.

Ireland dominated the first half, with numerous opportunities to concede against Nigeria. Stunning saves from Courtney Brosnan left 0-0 on the scoreboard by halftime.

The second half started with even more intensity from both teams, with many nail-biting moments from both sides. The match ended with no goals on the scoreboard, resulting in one point on the board for Vera Pauw’s side.

Meanwhile, Australia obliterated Canada in their final group fixture, winning 4-0.

Australia and Nigeria will now advance to the round of final 16, while Ireland and Canada’s World Cup has come to an end.
