The Irish skipper managed to secure 37% of the supporters' votes, with Frida Maanum earning the second most votes and Lia Walti coming out third in the poll.
This award also comes as another accolade to her name this season, following her triumph as the recipient of the WSL Goal of the Season for her explosive strike against Manchester City and securing a spot in the esteemed UEFA Women's Champions League Team of the Season.
During the last two months of the season, McCabe took over the captaincy of Arsenal in the absence of Kim Little and Leah Williamson, who were both sidelined due to injury.

In a statement, the club acknowledged her instrumental role, particularly as the season came to a close: "As Kim Little and then Leah Williamson were sidelined through injury, McCabe donned the captain's armband for the final two months of the season. Her experience, leadership and boundless determination were just what our team needed in the home straight to finish third and secure Champions League football."
