Her Sport Celebrates 2025 PwC Camogie All-Star Nominees as Excellence in Women’s Sport Takes Centre Stage

Her Sport proudly recognises the athletes who have been nominated for the 2025 PwC Camogie All-Stars Awards, announced today by the Camogie Association in partnership with PwC. The shortlist honours the standout performers from an electrifying All-Ireland Championship season, which culminated in Galway’s thrilling victory over Cork in a dramatic final.

The winners will be revealed at a special awards ceremony in Croke Park on Saturday, 15th November 2025, an evening dedicated to celebrating the exceptional skill, dedication and leadership of women in Camogie.

A Showcase of Elite Talent

All-Ireland champions Galway lead the nominations with 10 players recognised for their outstanding contributions throughout the season. Cork, the All-Ireland finalists, have 11 nominees, reflecting the intensity of their campaign. Waterford and Tipperary are also strongly represented with six and five nominees respectively, followed by Kilkenny with three and Clare with one.

2025 PwC Camogie All-Stars Nominations Include:

  • Goalkeepers: Sarah Healy (Galway), Amy Lee (Cork), Brianna O’Regan (Waterford)
  • Backs: Featuring stars such as Róisín Black (Galway), Méabh Cahalane (Cork), Libby Coppinger (Cork) and Karin Blair (Tipperary)
  • Midfielders: Lorraine Bray (Waterford), Aoife Donohue (Galway), Ashling Thompson (Cork)
  • Forwards: Ailish O’Reilly (Galway), Amy O’Connor (Cork), Beth Carton (Waterford), Carrie Dolan (Galway), and other leading scorers showcasing the strength of attacking play in the modern game

Players’ Player of the Year – A Peer Honour

In addition to All-Star awards, the ceremony will also crown the PwC GPA Players’ Player of the Year in the Senior, Intermediate, and Premier Junior categories – a prestigious honour voted on by fellow players, underlining leadership and impact on and off the field.

Senior Player of the Year Nominees:

  • Aoife Donohue (Galway)
  • Dervla Higgins (Galway)
  • Saoirse McCarthy (Cork)

Intermediate and Premier Junior Nominees:

  • Patrice Diggin (Kerry), Orlagh Phelan (Offaly), Grace Teehan (Offaly)
  • Aimee Collier (Laois), Gráinne Delaney (Laois), Clodagh Tynan (Laois)

Leaders Celebrate a Milestone Year

Brian Molloy, Uachtarán an Chumainn Camógaíochta, commended all nominees:
