Her Sport is the leading multi-platform sports media and sports content brand for women’s sport in Ireland. We deliver top quality video, audio, podcast and written sports content across our website and every major social media platform.
We are looking for a Video Editing Assistant to join our team for a part-time internship with the prospect of becoming a part-time team member. We are seeking someone who is passionate about sport and creating impactful and engaging content, and wants to be a part of creating social and cultural change.
The successful candidate will form part of a growing digital sports team as well as being provided possible opportunities for on-camera appearances with Ireland’s #1 organisation for Women in Sport.
What you will do:
- You will work with our Head of Video and internal content team to develop engaging videos
- Assist in recording and editing high-quality videos and podcasts that meets all aspects of the Company and client’s brief
- Assist in filming at a variety of different locations
- Develop ideas, concepts and storyboards for a video brief
- Ensure that equipment for all shoots is present and working.
- Be heavily involved in facilitating pre-production, production and delivery of video content for the Company and our clients
Criteria
- Experience in social media video production is considered an asset
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Premiere Pro and CapCut
- Intermediate graphic design skills
- Familiarity with platforms such as YouTube, TikTok and Instagram
- The ability to follow instructions well, work to deadline and multi-task
- Enthusiastic to create content and learn what works for short-form and long-form video
- Good knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.
- Versatility, and the ability to adapt and engage in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
- And it goes without saying - strong interest in women’s sports and social media content production is essential!
