After last Saturday's game, it is safe to say that Méabh Deely is a rising star in Irish rugby. Scoring a try in her debut game against hosts in Japan, Deely talks us through the tour so far and her experiences in rugby.
When she got the call that she would be on the squad for the Test series, she was standing in a coffee shop after training, not expecting that this call would lead to one of the major highlights of her sporting career thus far.
"I was so excited, it meant so much to me
"To get that opportunity, I'm so grateful"

She discusses the challenges her team has faced, adapting to a completely different climate and having to train in conditions they have never experienced before. Deely told us they are still getting used to it but making good progress, which is clear from the results of their previous match.
But it has not been all training and rest, the team have had multiple excursions to explore Japan and have fun in between matches. Deely's personal highlight so far was a trip to Disney land which she described as "brilliant!".
Deely walked us through the match and discusses Japans playing style, what the team have learnt from the first test to hopefully bring home another win for Ireland on Saturday.
