The Ireland Women’s Rugby team have made three changes to the side which defeated Scotland 18-14 last week. Ireland face Wales in the second round of the Women’s Six Nations at Energia Park at 1pm this Sunday.
Fit again, Eimear Considine is welcomed back to the fold as she makes her first appearance of the tournament after recovering from injury. Considine is named at full back which means Lauren Delaney is shifted to the wing, while last week’s try-scoring hero Beibhinn Parsons makes up the back three.
The industrious centre pair of Michelle Claffey and Sene Naoupu remains unchanged as they are named at 12 and 13 respectively.
The remaining two changes will see a first Six Nations cap for Judy Bobbett, who partners Aoife McDermott in the second row. Claire Keohane, who made her Ireland 15s debut last week, will make her first start at out-half with Kathryn Dane named at scrumhalf again.
There is no change to the front row as Clíodhna Moloney is named at hooker. Moloney was a star in the first half for Ireland last week before leaving the field for HIA precaution. She will be joined by Lindsay Peat and Linda Djougang.
Captain, Ciara Griffin captains the side from the back row, while Edel McMahon and Anna Caplice complete the pack.

Speaking ahead of the game, Coach Adam Griggs said, “Tt was great to start the campaign with a win. We started the game against Scotland well, but we have areas to work on for this weekend.
“Wales are a familiar side, we played them in November, and we lost to them in the final minutes of that game. We know how strong they are and where the threats are.
“I’ve no doubt they will be looking for a result on Sunday. If we get the small things right, I am confident we can come out on the right side.”
