Vote here for your 2023 ZuCar Golden Glove winner!
Dublin's TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship winning goalkeeper Abby Shiels, Kerry's Ciara Butler, Mayo's Laura Brennan and Meath's TG4 All Star Monica McGuirk have all been nominated with a chance of claiming the award from LGFA Performance Partner ZuCar (sponsors of the All-Ireland Ladies Minor Football Championships and Gaelic4Teens programme).
The Golden Glove award was introduced in 2021 to acknowledge goalkeeping excellence during the TG4 All-Ireland Championships.
Longford’s Riane McGrath was the inaugural recipient and Laois goalkeeper Eimear Barry won the award in 2022.
Voting is now open to crown the 2023 winner and option A (shown in the above video) is an outstanding save by Dublin goalkeeper Abby Shiels against Cork in the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship semi-final, from Daire Kiely's blistering effort.
Option B is another excellent save, this time from Mayo goalkeeper Laura Brennan to keep out Armagh forward Aimee Mackin's well-struck penalty in the group stages of the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship.
Option C is a wonderful save from Meath goalkeeper Monica McGuirk during the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship quarter-final, when Kerry forward Louise Ní Mhuircheartaigh looked certain to find the net.
And option D is another penalty save, this time from Kerry's Ciara Butler to repel Dublin captain Carla Rowe during the group stages of the All-Ireland series at Parnell Park.
Popular vote will determine the winning goalkeeper, who will be presented with the 2023 ZuCar Golden Glove award – and voting here will close at 5pm on Wednesday September 6.
The winner of the 2023 ZuCar Golden Boot is Clare star Fidelma Marrinan, who finished as leading scorer in the 2023 TG4 All-Ireland Championships, with a haul of 5-38 for the TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Finalists.
Fidelma will be presented with her award alongside the Golden Glove winner later this month.
