GOALKEEPERS from Fermanagh, Longford, Louth, Meath and Tipperary are in the running for the inaugural ZuCar Golden Glove award.
The ZuCar Golden Glove will be presented to the goalkeeper who wins the popular vote at the following link.

Fermanagh’s Shauna Murphy, Longford goalkeeper Riane McGrath, Louth’s Una Pearson, Meath’s TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship winner Monica McGuirk and Tipperary’s Lauren Fitzpatrick are the five goalkeepers in with a chance of claiming the award from ZuCar, the LGFA’s Performance Partner.
The ZuCar Golden Glove award has been introduced to acknowledge goalkeeping excellence during the TG4 All-Ireland Championships.
Option A is Longford goalkeeper Riane McGrath, whose wonderful late save was crucial as the Midlanders preserved their TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Championship status in the relegation play-off against Fermanagh, while option B is Meath goalkeeper Monica McGuirk’s point-blank stop to deny Dublin’s Hannah Tyrrell in the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Final.
Option C is a superb finger-tip save from Louth goalkeeper Una Pearson in their TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Championship fixture against Offaly, while option D showcases some goalkeeping heroics from Tipperary goalkeeper Lauren Fitzpatrick in their Senior Championship relegation play-off win against Tyrone.
Option E, meanwhile, features not one, but two penalty saves in the one game by Fermanagh goalkeeper Shauna Murphy in their Intermediate clash with Leitrim.

The winning goalkeeper will be presented with the inaugural ZuCar Golden Glove award – and voting will close at 5pm on Friday, October 15.
On TG4 All-Ireland Final day, the ZuCar Golden Boot award was presented to Carlow forward Clíodhna Ní Shé, who, finished as leading scorer in the 2021 TG4 All-Ireland Championships with a haul of 9-19.
