Peter "Chap" Cleere has assumed the new role of senior manager for Kilkenny Camogie. With an illustrious history as an All-Ireland champion with Kilkenny, Cleere transitions from a successful playing career, bringing a wealth of experience and a proven track record.

Cleere has agreed to take on the role for a one-year term.

Clare had a seamless transition into coaching, starting off as the manager for the Carlow Senior Camogie team. His leadership saw Carlow's camogie fortunes rise significantly, resulting in a league title.
