Former Cork hurler Ger Manley is poised to assume leadership of the county's camogie team for an initial two-year term, subject to ratification.
Manley steps into the role vacated by Matthew Twomey, having previously served as a coach during their victorious All-Ireland campaign last season. Liam Cronin will continue as a coach for the 2023 campaign.
Having previously collaborated with several hurling clubs in Munster and Leinster, Manley also contributed to the Cork minor management for a three-season tenure.

Cork Camogie extended support to Ger and his management team: "The Cork Camogie Board would like to wish Ger and his management team the very best of luck." Additionally, they acknowledged the contributions of Matthew Twomey, recognizing the great work done during his tenure.
Twomey made his departure in September, citing the strain and pressure of inter-county management as a significant factor in his decision. Twomey was also recently voted as the 2023 PwC Camogie Manager of the Year.
