Cameron handed Taylor her first professional defeat, spoiling her highly anticipated return to Ireland in front of a packed 3Arena crowd in May. Taylor expressed her desire for a rematch very quickly after her first bout with Cameron.
“Congratulations to Chantelle and thank you for this opportunity. I’m looking forward to the rematch,” Taylor said after the fight earlier this year. “I wasn’t surprised how fast she was. I expected everything that came my way but I just came up short tonight. I knew it was a close fight, every round was close but this is boxing.”
In the upcoming fight, Cameron will defend her 140lb super-lightweight titles, while Taylor, who recently turned 37, aims to become a two-weight World champion.

Boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn, acknowledged his attempts to explore different opponents, including Amanda Serrano, but Taylor's determination for a rematch with Cameron remains unwavering.
The official announcement is expected next month.
