This past Sunday, 30 April 2023, was the anniversary of Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrrano's all-time classic encounter at Madison Square Garden. Media personality Jake Paul, who is also Serrano's promoter, took to Twitter to express his excitement for the upcoming Taylor-Serrano rematch which is set to happen in Dublin this year.
A year ago today Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor made history.
It was a privilege to play a role in putting on that event and I can’t wait for the rematch. See you soon Dublin. pic.twitter.com/xpWORzxTGv— Jake Paul (@jakepaul) April 30, 2023
Last April, the pair held an epic battle with Taylor emerging victorious by split decision in what was considered to be the female fight of the year. The rare media spotlight and sold-out Madison Square Garden arena made the fight a truly memorable night for women's boxing.
Nothing better than being one half of the Baddest female fight in history.
You can say Anything you want but you CAN’T Deny no one’s done it Better. @KatieTaylor & I shared a moment in Time. HISTORY TOGETHER!
I Look forward to Dancing with her once Again 🙏

The rematch was originally scheduled for 20 May 2023, but was postponed due to Serrano suffering an injury.
At present, there is a possibility that Serrano could face Taylor at Croke Park in an event Matchroom are planning to stage in September. Further details have yet to be announced.
