A team of 32 athletes will compete at the 2023 European U23 Championships in Espoo, Finland, from today until 16 July.
The competition is a key championship on the athlete pathway and serves as a final launching pad into full senior championship competition.
Ten of Ireland's athletes are making their debuts today, starting with Adeyemi Talabi (Longford AC) this morning. A brilliant effort from Talabi saw her end in 5th place in her 100m heat with a time of 11.95. Talabi unfortunately won't progress to the semi-finals.
