These two upcoming matches mark the 16th and 17th meetings between the sides – all of which have taken place on US soil. The friendlies come at a crucial point in Ireland’s international calendar, following a strong finish to their UEFA Nations League group campaign with consecutive wins over Türkiye and Slovenia.

With a UEFA Nations League Promotion/Relegation Play-Off against Belgium scheduled for October, the games against the current world powerhouse will serve as vital preparation for Carla Ward’s squad.

Supporters in Ireland will be able to catch the action live via the RTÉ Player.
