Arsenal’s Teyah Goldie Suffers Second ACL Injury

Arsenal youngster Teyah Goldie has suffered a second ACL injury of her career.

The 19 year-old Gunner, previously ruptured her ACL in her left leg in 2022. She then had to endure a 14-month long recovery period, before returning to the pitch in May of this year. When asked about her return at the time Goldie stated, “It has been a while but the moment was just as good as I ever imagined to be fair. I’m just buzzing”.

Arsenal have confirmed that Goldie sustained the injury, to her right leg, before returning to preseason training with the squad. She has already undergone surgery for the injury and has begun her rehabilitation at the club’s training centre.

This injury adds to Arsenal’s already large list of ACL injuries, including Leah Williamson, Beth Mead, Vivianne Miedema and Laura Weinroither.
