Jamie Finn extends stay at Birmingham City

Midfielder Jamie Finn has signed a new deal with Birmingham City, extending her stay with them until at least June 2025.

The 25-year-old is one of three training players currently with Team Ireland at the World Cup as injury cover, despite starting six of Ireland’s matches in the World Cup qualifying campaign. Manager Vera Pauw called her omission “the hardest decision” of the selection.

Finn released a graceful statement confessing her “mixed emotions” but expressing her gratitude to be named as a training player, and her full support of the team.

Finn has made 56 appearances with the Blues since joining in the summer of 2021. She started all 29 of their fixtures last season. Her first goal for the team came in an August 2022 0-4 win against Sunderland.

Irish Internationals Louise and Lucy Quinn have also both recently extended their stay with Birmingham City.
