Video: Special Presentation Of AFLW Jersey From Dad For Dublin Star McEvoy

Dublin 2019 All-Star Niamh McEvoy made her AFLW debut for Melbourne as they defeated the Western Bulldogs. Pre-game she was presented with her jersey from her father.

Dublin 2019 All-Star forward Niamh McEvoy made her AFLW debut for Melbourne FC this weekend, as she helped the Dees retain their 100% start to the season with a 4.8 (32) to 2.0 (12) victory.
The four-time All-Ireland champion was joined by fellow Dubliner and seven-time All-Star Sinéad Goldrick in the squad to face the 2018 champions Western Bulldogs.
On a wet and muggy Friday night, Melbourne were relentless and established themselves as one of the favourites for the AFLW title after dismantling the Western Bulldogs by 20 points at the Whitten Oval.
Their ferocious attack on the ball and the ability to dominate time inside the 50 will prove hard to stop in what is set to be the most unpredictable season yet.
McEvoy was unable to make her AFLW debut in the season opener last week “due to illness” but on her first competitive start, helped Melbourne earn early-season silverware as they took home the Hampson-Hardeman Cup.
It was a special debut for the Dubliner as she was presented with her new Melbourne red and blue jersey from her father.

She enjoyed the celebrations after the too!
